The Yasawa Island group with
its sandy beaches and ease of access to Nadi has many of the best
resorts to be found in Fiji. The group consist of 12 large and many
smaller islands and is the cruising ground for international cruise
ships, private yachts and Fiji based smaller cruise lines. The
island group is noted for its volcanic rugged mountains and is host
to many budget and luxury resorts. The most famous island resort is
the luxury Turtle Island resort and the more recent "Yasawa Island
Resort"
