New Zealand is the ideal place to freedom camp. You can basically camp
your Motorhome or Campervan anywhere except private property. Holiday
makers can be found parking their Campervan by the road side, on the
side of lakes and in the mountains and national parks. |

Department of Conservation (DOC) camps can be found in remote areas of
NZ and provide beautiful holiday settings but often do not provide
shower, toilet or kitchen facilities found in the commercial camp
grounds however DOC camping grounds are located in the countries most
beautiful locations and are our recommendation for Campervan
holidaying. |
