Northland and the Bay of Islands.

The town of Russell is a short car ferry ride from the town of Paihai. Paihia is known as the jewel of the magnificent Bay of Islands. Blessed with shimmering safe waters and superb beaches Paihia is a good place to be based for your Bay of Islands experience. It is here you will find the warmest of welcomes alongside world class accommodation, restaurants and water based holiday activities. Must see - The town of Kerikeri. The township and environs of Kerikeri glory in the production of fruit and art. All along the side of the road, orchards sell their delicious oranges, kiwi fruit and avocados.

Auckland City and the Coromandel Peninsula.

Auckland is known as the City of Sails for many good reasons. It’s rumoured that Auckland has the highest number of boats per capita in the world. Waiheki and Rangitoto island, a day trip from Auckland's Viaduct harbour.

The main town of the Coromandel Peninsula is Whitianga. Located on the shores of Mercury Bay a spectacular coastline dotted with islands and sheltered waters, perfect for all water sports. Must see - Hot Water Beach - for two hours either side of low tide, visitors can dig themselves into the sand and enjoy the hot spring waters.

Tongariro National park, Rotorua and Lake Taupo.

The township of Taupo is located on the largest lake in New Zealand. The trout in Lake Taupo are legendary for their size, condition and attitude. The Tongariro River at the Southern end of Lake Taupo is one of the best trout rivers in the world. Must see - At the southern end of the lake, Tongariro World Heritage National Park contains three magnificent volcanoes - Mt Ruapehu, Mt Tongariro and Mt Ngauruhoe plus two ski fields.

Rotorua, a town like nowhere else. Lazy drifts of steam are emitted from cracks, crevices and culverts in parks, gardens, pathways and even residential streets.

Wellington.

Wellington City and the Inter island ferry to South Island. Nestled between the harbour and forest-clad hills, Wellington is both New Zealands Capital city and the undisputed Capital of arts and culture, nationhood, fashion, restaurants and nightlife. Must see - Te Papa, New Zealand’s national museum, to discover New Zealand’s people, land, culture and treasures. Catch the Cable Car from Lambton Quay, Wellingtons premier shopping street, to the top of the Botanic Gardens. Wellington is where you can take the Inter Island car ferry to Picton, the starting point of the South Island.
